✻ Collaboration (No One-Size-Fits-All Approach)
You are the expert on your own life, and I’m here to walk alongside you, not behind you with a checklist. We’ll work as a team to find an approach that fits your unique story and needs, because what works for one person won’t necessarily work for another. This is your space, and I'm here to be helpful to you.
✻ A Space That’s Warm & Genuine
I don't want therapy to feel stiff or clinical. My goal is to create a relaxed, down-to-earth environment where you can show up exactly as you are- bad days, humor-as-a-coping-mechanism jokes and all. It’s important that this feels like a safe, human space where you can breathe.
✻ Transparency & Trust
The therapeutic relationship is the most important part of this process. I value honesty and openness, and I want to hear your feedback so that you can get what you're needing from our time together. From that foundation of trust, we can do the real work of healing and growth.
✻ You’re Not Broken, and I’m Not Here to "Fix" You
At my core, I’m humanistic, meaning I genuinely believe in your innate ability to grow. My role isn’t to diagnose and repair you in a mechanical way, but to remind you of the strength you already have and help you uncover the clarity and healing that’s already within you.
✻ All of You is Welcome Here
You don’t have to edit yourself in this space. Every part of your story, your identity, and your experience is welcome. My priority is making sure you feel affirmed, valued, and supported exactly as you are, while we gently work toward who you want to become.
Therapy isn't a quick fix, and it’s not magic. It’s work, but it’s the kind of work that pays off for a lifetime. Change doesn’t happen overnight, and we’re not here to rush the process. Some people start to feel a sense of relief or clarity in just a few sessions, while deeper, lasting change often unfolds over weeks or months. It’s a gradual process of peeling back layers, and we’ll move at whatever pace feels right for you.
Progress can look different for everyone. Sometimes it an "aha!" moment in session, but more often, it’s a small shift: feeling a little lighter after sharing something you haven't ever said out loud, setting a small boundary that you couldn't set before, or being kinder to yourself when you make a mistake. Over time, these small shifts add up.
I will guide you with tools and support, and although I can’t magically change things for you, I will absolutely be in your corner helping you find the strength to change them yourself. We’ll check in along the way to make sure therapy is working for you, making sure you feel supported and heard every step of the way.
